Well. Here we are again. Behind. Seems to be a trend around here. We caught up with some great friends at the Brookings PRCA. Headed home to keep grinding ALL the gears, beat some sickness and tied up all the loose ends so we could pack up for NFR 2019.
Clay and I had the pleasure of photographing the most OUTGOING family on their place just south of Mitchell and it was a blast. We are so happy they fought thru the cold with us so we could capture their growing family. It was the Christmas gift for their parents last year, just in time for Christmas cards this year! (Uh yes, we do gift certificates and we travel! Perfect gift for your mama 😉) We also enjoyed a beautiful Sunday after with two seniors that are counting down the days til graduation.
Saturday we enjoyed a family wedding that we also had the privilege to photograph. Payleen and Levi, we were so honored you asked us to capture your day; can’t wait to share your sneak peek with you! Up early Sunday, we headed south to the Lone Star State. 12 hours in the car, a little detour on an express lane (if anyone has any information on that we will gladly expect it!), our first time on a toll road and we found ourselves downtown at the Ft. Worth Stockyards to stay the night.
This morning we wandered around the amazing shops the Stockyards have to offer. If you’ve never been, it’s a sight. My wishlist has grown in length for sure and I found some treasures. Today we found ourselves at The Best Hat Store. Clay snagged a new lid, stay tuned for photos. The whole reason for our detour to #NFR2019 was to meet with Panhandle Slim. They outfitted Clay for the finals and it was so nice to put a face to the name that we have been chatting with. Thanks Leslie for a great afternoon and for welcoming us with open arms to Texas. We are so excited to be working with you!
So here we are, tucked in tight and headed out bright and early tomorrow morning to head to Wickenburg, AZ to spend the holiday weekend with Clay’s family, a little R and R before we head out for #NFR2019!
